What we’re talking about:

I love speaking to guests who are doing very specific courses, and this week my guest is Naomi who has recently graduated from a Bachelor of Applied Business (Fashion Marketing) at Collarts. In this interview she shares her experience of studying at Collarts, the types of things she studied throughout her course, and the opportunities she had to explore what her career might look like within the course. She also gives us an insight into the work she is doing now working as an e-commerce assistant within the industry.

Fashion Marketing at Collarts

Naomi initially studied Nursing very briefly, before taking a break from study to work out what she really wanted to pursue. With a love of fashion and an interest in marketing, when she found this course at Collarts it felt like it was perfect for her. Naomi shares how fashion and marketing are woven together throughout the course, giving students the understanding of the industry and the skills in marketing they need. She also explains how students can find out more about the range of opportunities available to them once they graduate.

Working in the Fashion Industry

Naomi is working at a smaller womenswear company, and she gives us details about the huge range of experiences she’s had and the types of work she does in her role. This has allowed her to gain a heap of experience and a great understanding of the sorts of things she enjoys doing.
